My Lovely Night

Thursday night a few others and myself attended a Chamber of Conference meeting or something. I'm not really sure what it's called.

First off, it was 20 dollars for each of us to get in, besides our boss, BJ. He paid for nine people to get in! Holy moly! To start off the night we got there and it was finger foods and kind of a social time, I guess you could say! It was kind of awkward cause everyone knew everybody because it was and older crowd, and then there was just teenagers in the middle of EVERYONE.. awky i'd say.

When it finally all started, there was a guest speaker. He spoke about the Maine forest... talk about BORING! He talked about the forest from 1960 until now. He read everything off the slide, and was mono- toned, so that definitely didn't help at all.. There was even an older man sleeping in the back of the alamo! Our boss, was even bored, and shaking his head and telling us he's sorry.

Finally, that speech was over, and it was award time! Carrier's was the first one! We got New Business of the Year Award! Our boss especially, works his butt off! He works everyday we're open, and it's up by usually 4 o'clock and doesn't stop until midnight on most nights! He definitely deserved that award most definitely. He always says it's only because of us girls, and Dakota, but we wouldn't be there without him! He's taught us and told us what to do, and what he expects of us. We wouldn't be where we are today without him doing that.

I'm so proud to be apart of the "crew" at Carrier's Mainely Lobster. It's so fun to work at with the environment, and by meeting so many new people that are coming from all over the place! I wouldn't want to spend my summers anywhere else!

My Poor Doggy

This Tuesday, you would of thought it was a Monday for me. By the time I wake up every morning, and get in the shower in the morning my parents are leaving for work. While I was in the bathroom doing my hair my dog, Miley, started panting around the house, so I decided I'd let her out.. After I let her out I was in a rush to get ready. I was running behind. I put all my stuff in my car, opened the garage door and left!

I got a call before fourth period from my mom. "Hey Kimmy. The neighbors called and said the dog has been barking all morning, and how she's outside." As soon as my mother brought up my dog I instantly remembered that I never let the dog in!

I rushed home, and as soon as I pulled into my driveway Miley came running down to greet me! As soon as I saw her, I ran and felt her to see how cold she really was. To be completely honest she wasn't even cold, her paws might of been but her tummy was warm like she's been laying in the sun! I felt so bad that as soon as we went in the house I have her 6 treats, and I put a blanket in the dryer so she could lay on it and be warm. When I was trying to leave she would whine like she didn't want me to go.. it was sooo sad!

On my way back to school I was thinking to myself and wondering like what was my dog thinking when she was just barking? Was she upset? I would of been!

I now feel like a complete piece... how can you forget about your dog outside?!

My Little Man

There's this little boy who stole my heart. I'm not his sister, but he calls me Sissy anyways. Probably most people know who i'm talking about because he shows up to most of my basketball and softball games. You can't miss him. He's the little boy hollering to me, and will keep hollering to me until I acknowledge him! Hunter, is my biggest fan! No matter what, win or lose, he tells "nice job sissy," and asks me when the next game is.

We spend a lot of time together, but when we're at my house we ALWAYS have to play football! Man does he love football, and especially the Patriots! He makes me pick a football team and as he would say "Sissy, don't pick the Patriots!! I'm the Patriots! I'm gonna play for them some day, and be number 4!" I always pick the Jets just because he hates them!

About 95% of the time he comes over he ends up spending the night or two nights.. If you ask him where he's gonna sleep he'll say with me, and if you tell him he's gonna sleep by himself he gets upset, and says "No, I wanna sleep with Sissy." We watch Spider-man on Netflix because 'he is Spider-man' and i'm the green gobblan. While we're watching Spider-man he's laying so close to me (basically on top of me), but always holding my hand. It's adorable.

When he was three years old he told me I was a jalapeno pepper cause i'm hot stuff! He use to and sometimes still does tell me that _____ is an asshole cause he broke my heart. It makes me love him more and more every day. Hunter will ask me when Ryan and Logan are coming over again to play with him cause he misses them, and tells me how Nic taught him how to Tebow at a basketball game, which he gets so excited about and HAS to show me!

I love this little boy! You never know what might come out of his mouth, but he brightens my day every time I see him!

My Brothers

I'm 16 years old, and in exactly 81 days I'll be 17! Im the baby in my family. I have two older brothers, Timmy who's 21, and Keith Jr (my half brother) who's 28. My parents didn't name me, Timmy did. He got Kimberly from Kimberly the pink power ranger, and Jean from our grandmother.

Growing up Keith Jr, didn't live with us. He'd come down every other weekend during the school years, and in the summer time would stay two weeks out of the summer. My brother lived in Bangor with his mom and step dad, and graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School. Keith got his BS in Finance and graduated from Husson University, and played baseball all four years. He now works at Bank of America, and has a family. He has a little boy named, Anthony, who will be a year old next month.

Ever since I was little I've watched baseball my whole life with Timmy playing and my dad coaching. Timmy's senior year he got PVC pitcher of the year. He graduated Bucksport High, and went to Thomas College for his first year, but it wasn't for him, so he transferred and is now attending Husson University. Hes graduating this year was a BS in accounting, and next year he'll complete his masters in business. My brother has played baseball in college all 4 years, and this year will be his last. When he pitches in college he doesn't do much. His fast ball isn't fast, so when he goes in he only pitches his knuckle ball, and curve-ball.

I'm so proud for everything both my brothers have done, and wouldn't want to trade them for the world. They've always been so understanding to when I couldn't make any of their games because I had games as well, but have always came to as many of my games as they could! I love them so much!
Anthony was 7 days old in this picture.

My Friend

Back in the day,
I had a best friend named Josh Gray,
We would always play,
On my birthday he blew out my candles anyway!

He was a baller,
And beat up kids who are smaller,
They would always holler.

He'd always give you 'tude,
If you took his food.
His mouth was always open, dude,
But he was always in a happy mood!

It's Over..

It all started in sixth grade. Making the A Team in basketball as a sixth grade was so exciting for me, but also very nerve racking. I was a shy kid back then. Hard to believe right? But I was. Not being friends with many upper class-men, so I was going to have to make some friends. And to be completely honest, the grade above me (seniors now) use to intimidate me! As time went on about the third day of practice making friends on a team wasn't that hard, and after all they weren't all that intimidating. My sixth grade year came to an end, and I had built amazing friendships, and memories that I'd never want to forget about.
My seventh grade year, Alanna told me "I'm gonna go by you just like bread and buttah!" As the whole team laughed it off, and after that night of basketball realizing that I only had so many more games left with them until it'd be over for them in middle school made me dread my 8th grade year without them. I'd have to become closer to kids in my grade all over again.
As my eight year came, I got closer to my grade, I loved it. My older friends, and I didn't talk much. It was definitely not the same without my lovely friends. Not being able play basketball with them, seeing them in the hallways, or after school was a bummer. I always said "I don't want my senior year to come cause it's going to be like 8th grade all over again!" Dreading it, and dreading it....
Freshman year came and I made varsity basketball with all my upper class-men friends, Alanna, Debbie, Bri, and Taylor. We made it to the tourneys this year, which was amazing! And not realizing that in three years they were going to be seniors. I figured it'd be soooo long, and it would go by so slow. Well, let me tell you... it went by SO fast!
Our next year was a big building year! We only won 1 game, which didn't help our confidence, but we were always doing something to keep us happy with playing basketball, between, dancing and singing in the locker rooms, cuddling with each other on the bus rides to games, and etc. It was a great year to spend with each other!
This year was the last year I'll ever play basketball with Lonnie, Deb, Bri and Taylor again, and yet, it breaks my heart. Now that i'm in high school, I see them a lot more then I did in middle school. I have classes with them, study halls, spending so much more time together after school since we can drive now. I'll never forget, poking each other and Mr. Tracy in the stomach, learning Finnish in the Cross Center locker rooms, traveling together to support the boys teams, me and Chloe having to gather senior gifts in a blizzard at nine o'clock at night,
and many more memories.  Next year is DEFINITELY not going to be the same.  I'll never forget these girls and our basketball careers together! I'm definitely going to miss you all next year!
